Nike Air Max
The Nike Air Max is more than just a sneaker; it's a history lesson. Developed in the '80s by former NASA engineer Frank Rudy, the Air technology cushioning system was first utilized inside the 1978 Nike Air Tailwind but didn't become visible until 1987. What began as an element to provide additional comfort and running support and transitioning into a design element utilized over the last 40 years. The Air Max family encompasses many silhouettes, including throwbacks like the Air Max DN, Air Max 1, Air Max 97, Air Max 95, Air Max 96, Air Max Plus and more.
