The Stan Smith original as it was.

Humans can see more shades of green than any other colour. The reason is that for most of human history green was essentially survival information, it told you where the food was, whether the land was good, what was alive and what wasn't. Wait, actually learning about human evolution through a sneaker drop. Really? But it maybe explains why a shade of green can grab your attention before you've figured out what you're looking at, and why you'll notice it on someone's heel from halfway down the street before anything else.

If you're into sneakers, you probably recognise that Pantone 3500C on the Stan Smiths instantly. They have had the same exact shade for decades. What most don't know is that the shoe itself has been quietly changing the whole time. The tongue has been getting longer, the silhouette softer and chunkier and the overall proportions shifting gradually.

The adidas Originals Object of Legacy pack undoes all of that. A collection of five court icons returned to their original form as they were, with the Stan Smith 80s going all the way back to 1986 exactly 1:1. Shorter tongue, the more tapered and refined heel, the whole silhouette sitting slimmer and closer to the foot. The leather is premium and soft, good as old. A testament to its timelessness, simplicity, and versatility.
While some silhouettes come and go, others need no reintroduction. The adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s now available at NAKED Copenhagen. Get them while you can.
