OpéraSPORT Edition 14: Art, Luxury and Sustainability

For Edition 14, OpéraSPORT’s latest collection, founders Awa Malina Stelter and Stephanie Gundelach turned to the art world for inspiration. Inspired by the figurative artwork of British artist Tom Anholt, Awa and Stephanie used six of Tom’s paintings to help set the framework for what Edition 14 would become.
A conduit bridging Copenhagen and Parisian style, OpéraSPORT meticulously crafted Edition 14 with sporty practicality and elegance in mind; to create pieces that were not only versatile for everyday use but durable enough to be handed down the generations. Out of this expansive collection, seven pieces are a direct collaboration with Tom Anholt, for example, the reversible Ace Jacket, where Anholt’s paintings have been cast directly onto the garment as a print.
Inspired by the dazzlingly starry nights of Anholt’s paintings, these select collaborative pieces feature beautiful palettes of regal purples, night blue, slate greys, and sultry beiges. Across the collection, beloved OpéraSPORT pieces such as the Eve, Coco, and Rose tops, have been updated with subtle accents, while all-new Denim and leather looks like the Devin jeans and Ada leather jacket only strengthen OpéraSPORT’s design language.
In addition to being one of the most exciting voices in contemporary fashion, OpéraSPORT also relentlessly returns to organic and recycled materials to bring their visions to life. With sustainability as a central pillar of their design language, OpéraSPORT incorporates recycled silk, vegan leather, wool, polyester and organic and recycled cotton to bring Edition 14 to life.
