Nike Air Max 97

The Nike Air Max 97 completely shook-up sneaker culture when it was released in 1997 because its design influences were unlike anything released up to that point. Inspired by the Japanese Bullet trains and the rippling effect seen on ponds, this multi-layered gem was also the first Nike to feature a full-length Air sole. Since then the silhouette has been collaborated on by the likes of Off-White as part of its ‘The Ten’ collection, Undefeated and Skepta.
